Information Technology Entry Point Workshop: (You)nity

To create an environment in which Entry Points are given the opportunity and ability to show their capabilities and share their experiences with others, ADCO’s Information Technology Division conducts regular workshops for its Entry Points. The workshop was held on Wednesday, December 14th 2016 in ADCO’s Sport Center. It highlighted a very important objective that generally feeds the success of any division; namely, maximizing the value of harmony and team spirit among all. It is a setting where they are encouraged to participate, and contribute to engage freely with their peers and be embraced by the Information Technology family. Over the past two years, the workshops that took off were driven and organized by the Information Technology Entry Points.

These workshops usually unleash the Entry Points’ creativity, and motivation to show their unlimited abilities and prove their commitment. Every workshop possesses its own special theme. In 2016 “(YOU)nity” was the theme chosen and that highlighted the meaning of: “You”- referring to Entry Points- are a part of our unity. The “(YOU)nity” workshop involved different activities that strive for motivation, determination, and self-learning. Mr. Saif Ahmed Alghfeli, Chief Executive Officer of ADCO, had visited this workshop, in which he gave an inspiring, and motivational speech to all attendees.

The workshop was supported by Mr. Ahmed Al Mughanni, who highlights “if there is a will, there must be a way”, through his well-known encouraging phrase: “make it happen”. In addition to the great support of the Information Technology Division Management, the efforts made by their teams, and a number of individuals who were involved in making this workshop a one of a kind.
